Cappuccino Cookie Dough Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 cup (about 6-ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
- 2 teaspoons boiling water
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Cookie Dough Layer:
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup (about 6-ounces) Heath bar or toffee chips
Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips. Cool slightly. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Slowly add eggs and vanilla. In small bowl, dissolve coffee granules in boiling water. Stir in melted chocolate and coffee mixture.
- Combine flour and baking soda, add to batter. Spread in greased 9x13 baking pan.
- Bake for 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool.
For Cooking Dough Topping:
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in milk and vanilla.
- Gradually add flour. Stir in toffee chips. Drop over brownie, carefully spreading to edges.
- Store in refrigerator.
